I found the dishwasher on Amazon a month ago, and I saw many dishwashers with their reviews, there are built-in and portable. The portable dishwasher can be divided into countertop and free standing, but eventually I realized that only the dishwasher of free standing can meets my need as my kitchen is too small. So I look around to see which one will be fit for me.
At last I found the SPT SD-9241W Energy Star Portable Dishwasher for it’s only 18-inch wide, which do not take too much space. And this 18-inch dishwasher has casters and can be moved to anywhere. I am very happy I have found it, and I will tell you why.

Pro:

1. Accommodate larger plates/pots

This 18-inch dishwasher has eight standard place settings to load up the dishes, its cavity is spacious, at the same time, the upper rack is adjustable, so you can put larger plates and pots.

2. Easy controls

Its control console is full panel, which is easy to set up and control. You just need to press the ON/OFF button to turn on the dishwasher, press the PROG button to select desired program: All-in-1-> Heavy-> Normal-> Light-> Rinse-> Speed, and then press the START/PAUSE button to begin the wash cycle.

3. Easy to hook up

With faucet adapter included for quick and simple connection, it can be quickly connected to any kitchen faucet, don’t need for direct plumbing or permanent installation. The faucet adapter is suitable for standard size Aerator openings for both the male and female connections, which Male and female sizes are 15/16"" and 55/64"" separately. If your faucet aerator is removable, they should be able to connect to the faucet adapter.

4. Time Delay

It allows you to operate the dishwasher at a later time, between 1 to 24 hours. You can postpone to start it if you are on time-of-use electricity rates, which will help reduce electricity cost, and save you a bulk of money.

The upper rack of this portable dishwasher can be lifted or lowered to make room for large items like pots, pans, lids, serving dishes and bowls, and the bottom rack can be fold down tine rows to accomodate larger pots and pans too.

8. Perfect height for added counter space.

The top of this 18-inch dishwasher makes a wonderful counter and adds to the country space.

9. Portable

This 18-inch dishwasher can be easily moved around to where you need to store it.

Cons:

1. Doesn't really dry dishes

The 18-inch dishwasher uses residue heat (from the final rinse wash) to dry, but it dries the dishes well.

2. Takes a long time to run a cycle

The normal cycle of this portable dishwasher takes 115 minutes to run the cycle, which is too long to tie up the kitchen faucet every day.

3. The hose is only 3 foot.

Somebody thought it’s enough for using this 18-inch dishwasher, but others complained it’s too short. Sincerely, I think it’s enough.
